Description

In order to attract more outstanding international students to study at Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NUST), China, Nanjing Government and NUST have jointly set up the scholarship program.

In 2014 they will award:

1. Full Scholarship for Graduate: to 20 doctoral students and 60 master students;
2. Partial scholarship for Graduate: to 30 master students;
3. Full Scholarship for Undergraduate: to 120 students.
4. Partial Scholarship for Undergraduate: 60 students

Scholarship 

1. Full Scholarship for graduates 
- Tuition and fees for registration, laboratory experiments, internship, basic learning materials and intramural accommodation;
- Living allowance: CNY 2,000 per month for doctoral students; CNY 1,700 per month for master's degree student;
- Accommodation on campus：Single room for doctoral students; Double-bed room for master students;
-By showing Family Membership Certificate issued by China Embassy or General Consulate, married graduates who carry with family members can ask for accommodation allowance from NUST. CNY18,000 per year for doctoral students; CNY 9,000 per year for master students;
- Medical care and Accidental Injury and Hospitalization Medical Treatment Insurance;
- The one-off settlement subsidy for new students after registration: CNY 1,500 per person.

2. Partial Scholarship for graduates
- Tuition and fees for registration, laboratory experiments, internship, basic learning materials;
- Accidental Injury and Hospitalization Medical Treatment Insurance;

3. Full Scholarship for undergraduates
- Tuition and fees for registration, laboratory experiments, internship, basic learning materials;
- Accidental Injury and Hospitalization Medical Treatment Insurance;
- Accommodation on campus：4-bed room

4. Partial Scholarship for Undergraduate
- Tuition and fees for registration, laboratory experiments, internship, basic learning materials;
- Accidental Injury and Hospitalization Medical Treatment Insurance

Eligibility 

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals and in good health;
2. Education background and age limit:
3. Applicants for undergraduate programs must have senior high school diploma when registered and be under the age of 28;
4. Applicants for master degree program must have bachelor degree when registered and be under the age of 35;
5. Applicants for doctoral degree program must have master degree when registered and be under the age of 40.
6. Applicants should have a competitive academic record.
